White Oaks Mall launch their re-designed website

December 16, 2005 - London, Ontario, Canada - Keith Peiris, the President & CEO of Cyberteks Design in London, Ontario announced today that they launched the re-designed White Oaks Mall website (www.whiteoaksmall.ca) today.

A comprehensive Flash-enhanced web site for London's top shopping destination, the White Oaks Mall web site features a bold new look with seasonal design elements and animation backed by a powerful database-driven content management system. Store data, including locations and contact information are all stored in the database allowing for maintenance by the White Oaks staff. Visitors to the site can perform searches based on store category. Search results provide contact information as well as closest parking areas and store location within the mall.

The content management system allows White Oaks staff to perform maintenance and update the site. White Oaks staff can add/remove/edit events from the event calendar and open/close/edit employment opportunities on the jobs page.

The Flash based mall map provides users with an interactive overview of the mall as well as detailed information for each store. The map uses an intuitive navigation system to all users to zoom and pan the mall map for a more detailed look at the mall layout. Clicking on a store provides the user with store photos, phone numbers, web sites and parking locations.

The ‘Directions’ page features a cutting-edge interactive map which was also developed using Macromedia Flash. This page provides directions for motorists arriving from all nearby cities as well as bus routes for those arriving by transit.
